Leviticus 20:13 scrapped
The justification for my claim that Leviticus 18:22 and 20:13 were abolished by Moses himself approximately 3,000 years ago is presented surprisingly simply in my book.
However, the abovementioned laws were even abolished a second time, during the Council of Jerusalem (also known as the Council of the Apostles). You will find the justification for this not only in my book, but also below, based on three video clips:
- a fragment from a preliminary meeting of Paul, Peter, James, and Barnabas with the elders in Antioch;
- a fragment* from the actual Council in Jerusalem, with Paul, Peter, James, and Barnabas;
- an additional fragment from a later dialogue between Paul and James.
The original movie (Saint Paul by Roger Young) is available for purchase in various online stores and can even be viewed in its entirety on YouTube (albeit in somewhat low quality).
The dialogues in the film were created in close collaboration with several respected Bible experts.
* Strangely enough, this particular video fragment, appears to be restricted from being shown in Brazil due to copyrights (and possibly in other countries too). Therefore, if you don't have access to this fragment, you can follow this link which shows the entire movie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fdtgSlZyoRE The fragment in question can be found between 2h14m08s and 2h17m46s.
